The First Tee of Aiken, SC

The First Tee of Aiken's Free December Holiday Clinics were a success! Local youth and their families came out with great excitement to learn about The First Tee of Aiken! Everyone is looking forward to our Winter Clinics, which is right around the corner! On January 19^th, The First Tee of Aiken will begin programming with our students! Winter Clinics will be held January 19 - March 20, 2010 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00pm-6:30pm, and Saturday 9:00am-10:30am, 11:00am-12:30pm, 2:00-3:30pm. Yet, The First Tee of Aiken members will be practicing daily to improve their skills on The First Tee of Aiken's rotating 9-holes, driving range and shared practice green. What a pleasure it will be to watch them improve and grow as golfers and individuals!

The First Tee National School Program is coming! We will train Aiken County Physical Education teachers and provided equipment for them to use in their classrooms on January 9th at an area elementary school. We look forward to working with, and in, the schools to broaden the impact of The First Tee Life Skills Education and reach more youth in our community!

Still, The First Tee of Aiken needs your help!  If you are interested in volunteering, please let us know (and we need anyone and everyone...no you do not have to teach golf there are lots of ways you can help). Also, we are still in need of lightly used golf equipment (clubs, shoes, balls, bags), which can be donated in our classroom or the Pro Shop.
